गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णु र्गुरुदेवो महेश्वरः।
गुरुः साक्षात परं ब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः॥
GURU PURNIMA (27 JULY 2018) The full moon of the Ashadh shukla party is celebrated with enthusiasm in the form of Guru Purnima as a whole. There are many scholars in India, but Maharishi Ved Vyas was the first scholar, interpretation of Vedas of the Earth Sanatan Dharma (Hinduism).
Sikhism considers only the voice of one God and the ten gurus to be the real truth of life. A popular saying of Sikhism is the following:
What is the recognition
It is said that Ashad Purnima was born as Adi Guru Ved Vyas. In his honor, the full moon of the month of Ashadh is celebrated as Guru Purnima. But we must look at the hidden meaning because the full moon in the month of Ashadh does not even know. Clouds can be surrounded in the sky and it is very possible that the moon is not visible to the eye.
Without the playful rays of the Moon, then what will be the full meaning of full moon? If there is a mention of a full moon, then it is Sharad Purnima, then why should not the full moon of Sharad be considered superior because on that day the perfection of the Moon attracts the mind. But importance is more of ahaadh purnima because it has special significance.
Why is absolute full moon only Guru Purnima
There is a deep meaning behind choosing the full moon of Ashadh. It means that the guru is like the moon of full moon, which is fully illuminated and the pupil is like the clouds of ashad In Ashadh, the moon is surrounded by clouds Like the disciples in the cloud, the master is surrounded. The disciple can be all kinds of people, come here with the darkness of births. They are just like the dark clouds. Even in it the master can shine like the moon, even in the darkness surrounded by enlightenment, only then the glory of the master post. Therefore, the full moon is the importance of ahaadh! There is also a gesture towards the guru and also towards the disciple. It is a sign that both of them are in the same place, there is no meaning.
This festival is ideal to tell the next generation of the importance of a teacher and teacher in life. Vyas Purnima or Guru Purnima should be celebrated not on the basis of superstition, but with reverence.
The blessings of the guru are welfare and knowledge-oriented for everyone, so on this day the Guru’s blessings should be received after Guru Pujan. The importance of this festival in Sikhism is more because of the ten gurus in Sikh history.
This day is the law of guru worship. It is believed that Maharishi Ved Vyas, who was considered astrologer in Hindu religion, was an enlightened intellectual, and he is worshiped on this day. In the scriptures, Ved Vyas ji has been honored as ‘Adiguru’, so this is the reason that he has been considered sacred on Guru Purnima.
Worship of Ved Vyas ji In addition to Ved Vyas ji on the day of Guru Purnima, people worship their Guru too. In our life, whom we have considered as a guru, who have learned to follow the steps on the map, on this day to please them as if it is considered as getting God’s blessings. Therefore, this day is dedicated to the relationship of the Guru-disciple.
