At the same time, people of Hindu community celebrate it as a new year, on this day, worship is performed by putting bath, enjoyment etc. According to Hindu mythology, it is also believed that thousands of years ago, Bhagiratha was successful on this day in order to land the Ganga on the earth after harsh tenacity.
